Who we are?

Eshet Children and Youth Development Organization (ECYDO) is a local Civil Society youth-led/focused Organization (CSO) that was founded and legally registered under the Ministry of Justice in the year 2001 as a result of a volunteer initiative of young women and men.
Our vision is a safe, clean and happy environment to grow in for every child, adolescent, and youth in Ethiopia, with access to education, health services, and equal opportunities.

What do we do?

ECYDO ECYDO strives for an Ethiopia with equal opportunities for girls and boys, for an Ethiopia without HIV/AIDS and gender-based violence. ECYDO strives for an Ethiopia where children and young people can develop and live up to their potential, where nobody is left behind. The main areas of intervention of ECYDO are Male engagement in HIV/AIDS and GBV prevention; Adolescent and Youth sexual and reproductive health rights promotion; Women’s/Girl’s socio-economic Empowerment through fight against Gender-Based Violence including Female Genital Mutilation, early marriage, and teenage pregnancy; Children Development including Child Health; Promotion of Meaningful Youth Participation and Youth Leadership Development; Advocate for the right of social, political and economic entitlement of children, youth and Girl’s/Women’s; Promote peace, peacebuilding, and peaceful coexistence, Creation of employment opportunities and skills development; Removal of barriers in accessing education and services, and Environmental Protection.

Context
The main challenge of our organization is developing a winning proposal for various calls for proposals announced by different donor organizations. There is also high computation among different NGOs around the globe. Hence, we need qualified and experienced online volunteers who help us in developing these winning proposals. The volunteers will have a responsibility to develop proposals based on the call for proposal guidelines and application templates. if the volunteers need any assistance from our organization, we are ready to provide for the volunteers. if we can get qualified volunteers and obtain funds from the donor, it contribute to achieving our organizational objectives and ultimately support our communities.

Task description
we need experienced volunteers who can develop a project proposal the call for proposals. There are several calls for proposals announced by different donor organizations. So the volunteers have a responsibility to develop winning proposals based on the call guidelines and application template. currently, we have around five calls for a proposal on our hands. So we need to manage these calls for proposals before the deadline.

Requirements
Required experience
We are looking for professional volunteers who have rich experience in proposal development for NGOs working in Eastern Africa focusing on youth and children development, SRHR, peacebuilding, good governance, youth participation, Girls/women empowerment, and prevention of GBV, Good writing and analytical skills are critical for the task.
