Girls Education Mission International is on a mission to Girls Education Mission International is on a mission to breaking down barriers that hold girls back with a focused – on defending, protecting and promoting the rights of girls to education, health, technology and economic power and advocating for their opportunity to fulfil their potentials. Girls Education Mission International single goal is to ensure every girl child is equipped and reach full human potentials.Our specific objectives and activities are to:

1.Raise awareness of the violence against girls and women and advocating and creating space for scaling up successful policies through opened and inclusive dialogue at all levels of the society.

2.Mobilize necessary financial and human resources and other support to fight factors that often hold girls back.

3.To identify vulnerable girls and provide them with basic support they need to succeed in their education and beyond.

 

We provide integrated package of Education, Mentoring, Livelihood, Advocacy and capacity building towards reaching our goals.

Context
Girls Education Mission International is seeking for passionate volunteers to promote the organization’s GlobalGiving online fundraising campaign among potential donors to raise needed resources for the organizations’ project on girls education and menstrual hygiene program. The volunteers shall be expected to develop key messaging and promote fundraising initiatives through digital platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin etc).

Task description
Girls Education Mission International seeks the services of online volunteers to help promote the organization project and campaign among individuals and other potential donors to help raise resources. The volunteer shall promote this fundraise https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/girls-scholarship-program/ through social media and other digital platforms. The volunteer shall draft messages. Resources will be used to support education of vulnerable girls in Nigeria and Sierraleone . The project has been necessitated as most rural girls in Africa do not receive motivation to pursue their education or to be self reliant.

The online volunteers won’t be asked to submit any fund or to contact any third party on our behalf.

Requirements
Required experience
The volunteers should have passion and or experience in fundraising and crowdfunding. Active social media presence is preferable. English is the preferred language.

Languages
English, Level: Fluent, Desirable
