Mission and objectives
With its establishment on 7 April 1948, WHO works worldwide to promote health, keep the world safe, and serve the vulnerable. WHO’s goal is to ensure that a billion more people have universal health coverage, to protect a billion more people from health emergencies, and provide a further billion people with better health and well-being.
Context
The WHO European Centre for Preparedness for Humanitarian and Health Emergencies in Istanbul, Turkiye, has drafted the 2022-23 annual progress report on its activities in English language. This report will circulate and will be published on the WHO website. We are seeking an experienced volunteer to edit this report and finalize for publishing.
The selected volunteer will have a chance to learn more on the activities conducted by WHO in the European Region to strengthen the Member States preparedness to humanitarian and health emergencies while supporting the team firsthand.

Task description
The WHO European Centre for Preparedness for Humanitarian and Health Emergencies in Istanbul, Turkiye, is looking for one online volunteer to edit an annual progress report of 17 pages, with experience in editing, writing and publishing.
The volunteer will ensure copyediting to follow consistency of WHO style and writing guidelines for publications, to be provided by the Centre.
