Logistics and Purchasing Team Leader – NRC jobs in Honduras

NRC is looking for a university professional in: Logistics management engineering, industrial engineering, business administration or related careers with proven experience in procurement (tenders, consultancies, exemptions), extensive knowledge in technical purchasing processes and strong management and supervision skills. staff.

What will you do

• Implement the NRC logistics system, agreements and procedures, ensuring the implementation of the Anti-Corruption policy in the procedures under your responsibility.
• Initiate and maintain Framework or Long-Term Contracts for the supply of goods or services in accordance with the contracting guidelines of the NRC Logistics Manual. 
• Responsible for the management of Purchasing and Contracting procedures in Tegucigalpa as established in the Authorization Table.
• Supervise the logistics team, provide follow-up and feedback on the performance and professional development of team members, in accordance with NRC human resources policies.

What you will bring

• Minimum experience of three (3) years of work in similar positions, preferably in the humanitarian field.
• Solid knowledge in supply management – supply chains
• Experience in warehouse and warehouse management.
• Experience in fixed asset management.
• Knowledge in fleet management.
• Knowledge in merchandise transportation management at a national and international level.
• Conocimiento en Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Sharepoint)
• Knowledge of tax exemption issues.
