Logistics Technical Assistant El Salvador San Salvador (nationals only) – NRC jobs in El Salvador

The purpose of the position of Technical Logistics Assistant is to support the execution of the functions of the logistics area, execution of the purchasing strategy (including administrative processes that were assigned), among others, in the field office of El Salvador, acting under the regulations, standards NRC and its Donors.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the management of purchasing and contracting procedures in the office, according to the authorization table.
• Maintain your office’s supplier database unified and updated
• Support the NRC team in everything related to logistical and administrative activities for the development of the area’s actions.
• Support the socialization processes of the Logistics Manual, and its annexes.
• Support in the design and socialization of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Support audit attention in everything related to purchases
• Support in the preparation of reports to donors.
• Provide programs with information for project budgeting (for example, prices of items purchased based on market research)
• Support the monitoring of KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) in Logistics processes.

Professional Skills:

• Professional in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics Administration, International Business, or similar.
• Minimum two years of experience in functions related to the position.
• Solid knowledge in Supply Management – Supply Chains required.
• Knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Sharepoint) and experience in using ERP software is required.
• Desirable work experience in humanitarian aid contexts.
• Knowledge of technical English is desirable.
