Job Description

Results-Based Management function was introduced to UNDP Egypt country office in 2019 through recruitment of results-based management & resources management officer. The RBM function facilitated integrated work planning (IWP) by undertaking financial and program results’ monitoring and performance in a Results-Based Management (RBM) framework. Under the guidance of the Country Director, the RBM team coordinates the implementation of and facilated conformity with, UNDP standards, policies and methodologies in RBM, comprising monitoring and evaluation and the planning and management of program resources. RBM function maintains a comprehensive overview of the programme and project resources management, entailing monitoring of programme inflows and outflows (core-and non-core), as well as the program and projects results management including setting SMART indicators, results monitoring, results based reporting and evaluation.
The incumbent will assist the RBM officer in ensuring quality of planning, monitoring and evaluation of all UNDP Egypt programs and projects:
- Assists in CO financial planning process, by coordinating with different teams the delivery targets, monitoring implementation and assist in development of financial reports
- Assists in updating key statistics and data relevant to UNDP work in coordination with program teams
- Maintains evaluation database as per coorproate requirements, coordiantes evaluations and monitors the CO evaluation plan
- Assists in organizing training events for program and project staff and partners on results-based management
- Assists in preparation of results reports including ROAR

The incumbent will work under the supervision of the head of Results-Based Management unit.

Cross-Functional & Technical competencies

· Secondary education is required
· A university degree in Public policy or area related to social science will be given due consideration, but it is not a requirement.
5 years of work experience in the domain of skilling/ entrepreneurship with secondary education, 2 years with Bachelor’s degree in the national and/or international level in administration or management or other relevant programmes; experience with RBM is an asset, as is experience working in the UN or other international development organization
Required skills:
• Excellent oral and written skills; excellent drafting, formulation, reporting skills;

• Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of partners, including grassroots community members, religious and youth organizations, and authorities at different levels; familiarity with tools and approaches of communications for development;

• Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and email/internet; familiarity with database management; and office technology equipment;
