Context
The Women and Men Leadership Programme for Gendered Socio-economic Impact project is co-funded by UNDP as well as the Hayel Saeed Anam Group (HSA). The is implemented di-rectly by the UNDP Yemen Country Office using the Direct Implementation Modality through engaging the Humanitarian Development Programme (HDP) as Responsible Party. The project will be implemented through the dedicated team set up for this purpose. The pro-ject will benefit from the existing institutional structure of the UNDP CO as well as UNDP financial, operations and procurement system.
Task description
Under the overall supervision and guidance of the Green Economic Recovery and Development Team Leader, and with direct day-to-day coordination and collaboration with HDP the National UNV Community Organizers will undertake the following but not limited to tasks:
I. Contribute to facilitation of community Mobilisation activities in the targeted areas.
II. Monitor the capacity building activities of the project.
III. Contribute to identification of challenges facing women in gendered socio-economic de-velopment.
IV. Contribute to awareness raising activities in the targeted communities on the project activi-ties.
V. Monitor media coverage on the project activities.
VI. Monitoring implementation of community-based activities to address socio-economic chal-lenges.
VII. Document lessons learnt, best practices and success stories.
