The Ministry of Finance is responsible for preparing and implementing the budget, collecting taxes, regulating and controlling government expenditures and payments, and regulating customs affairs. The most important condition for the success of a government is to prevent budget deficits. To prevent budget deficits, the proportion of revenues and expenditures must be considered, and serious measures must be taken in regulating their affairs and necessary actions must be taken so that, on the one hand, revenue collection increases and, on the other hand, unnecessary expenditures are prevented.
Job Description:
Collaborate with the database team to develop and strengthen the database system and update it to complete the information and data collected to prevent the loss of documents.

- Collaborate with the database team to develop and strengthen the database system and update it to complete the information and data collected to prevent the loss of documents.
- Overseeing the process of creating and entering all national and international protocols into the database in order to provide timely information.
- Overseeing the consolidation and analysis of statistical figures for submission to the Cash Planning and AQMS System Directorate for its subsequent implementation.
- Strengthening and developing the databases of the General Directorate of Treasury, taking into account accepted standards, in order to better advance affairs.
- Providing necessary plans and advice in the field of developing electronic systems to develop and strengthen Afghanistan’s financial and information system.
- Monitoring and controlling the databases of the General Directorate of Treasury in order to ensure efficiency and strengthen work affairs.
- Implementing security policies in the databases of the General Directorate of Treasury to ensure their security
- Design and implementation of financial and information systems databases for the effectiveness and usefulness of the related affairs of the General Directorate of Treasury and budget units.
Management tasks
- Ensuring sound management, recruitment, encouragement, motivation, training and development of employees to better perform tasks according to established standards
- Preparing and arranging monthly, quarterly and annual work plans in accordance with the department’s general plan to achieve the department’s set goals.
- Providing monthly, quarterly and annual reports, and when necessary, on the activities and achievements of the relevant department in order to inform the leadership.
- Performing other duties assigned by competent authorities in accordance with the laws, regulations and objectives of the department.

Employment conditions
- Have Afghan citizenship

Educational level : Having at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, from within or outside the country, which has been approved by the Ministry of Higher Education.
Work experience : At least two years related to the job.

Proficiency in one of the official national languages (Pashto or Dari)
