Scope of work 

  1. Goal and objectiveUnder the supervision of the Innovation Manager the consultant will engage in the network of Yoma and existing ADDA partners to develop a scalable business plan for ADDA and a DPG incubator.
  2. Provide details/reference to AWP areas covered: Technical expertise will be provided to allow Green Yoma and ADDA scale it’s operation to reach more young people to train relevant 21st century skills.
  3. Activities and Tasks: List specific tasks/activities and issues to be addressed under this assignment, included expected boundaries of the assignment. Tasks should be described as the steps taken in carrying out and completing the key activities of the assignment.

a) Work with the specialist consultant and the broader Green Yoma team to facilitate a human- centered process for developing a scalable business model for ADDA based on the learnings from Niger and other campuses, making use of DPGs.

  1. Facilitate the development and drafting of a scalable business model for ADDA and a DPG incubator.
  2. Develop a process to validate the key findings of the implementation and draft business plan including the UNICEF ADDA / Green Yoma ecosystem of partners
  1. Work relationships: The consultant will work in close consultation with the Innovation Manager, the specialist and the Junior Consultant to support ADDA scaling across the region.
  2. Outputs/Deliverables:

Timeframes are negotiable pending factors outside the control of the consultant.

All deliverables are to be completed in English, however materials in other languages including French may need to be consulted and reviewed as part of the process.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Education: Master’s degree in Management, Environmental management, International Studies or similar.
  • State the specialized skills and/or training if needed; Experience with start-ups, innovation towards the SDGs and UAS. Experience working in Africa and with diverse stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the development sector and/ or innovation and working with international organizations in the UN system.
