Major Responsibilities:
• Create capacity ratings, conduct biographical and philanthropic research on donors and prospects;
• Write confidential research profiles on individual and/or company and trust & foundation donors/prospects for meetings and planning;
• Provide due-diligence research reports on individuals, companies and trusts & foundations;
• Support team members in prospect management, providing holistic research services to fundraisers on a 1:1 basis;
• Proactively seek and apply insights from fundraisers and other partners to identify improvements;
• Promote teams’ services to colleagues through guidance, trainings, and reports;
• Support special projects such as electronic screening by vendors and news alerts system;
• Additional assignments as directed by supervisor
Essential Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years’ equivalent experience.
• Working proficiency (written and spoken) in English
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in internet search engines and advanced search techniques
• Abides by APRA Principles of Ethics and Compliance
