SCOPE OF WORK:

Brief description of the position within the Project(s):

  • The WPE assistant position is responsible for providing technical, programmatic support and to partners of the International Rescue Committee on issues of female survivors of GBV, the LGTBIQ+ population and diverse women.

Coverage area:

  • Guatemala (City), Chimaltenango, San Marcos and Huhuetenango.

Objectives of the position:

  • Administrative support to partners of the International Rescue Committee in the implementation of methodologies, quality standards, review of reports, technical visits, reporting and whatever is required by the Women’s Protection and Empowerment management.
  • Accompaniment on monthly field visits to partners to accompany the partner’s technical team.
  • Formal feedback to Women’s Protection and Empowerment management on observances in project implementation.
  • Administrative feedback in the area of ​​monitoring and finances with the objective of periodically analyzing the congruence of financial execution and achievement of goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to the principles of minimum standards of gender-based violence. This includes ensuring the confidentiality of joint work carried out with partners.
  • Administrative support in the planning and implementation of methodologies with partners. Accompaniment in meetings and advocacy actions to identify potential partners and strategic alliances in the coverage areas as support for the Protection and Empowerment management.
  • Review of monthly reports and close coordination with the grants and partnerships team

Monitoring Responsibilities

  • Keep an updated weekly record of member support.
  • Contribute to monthly reports.
  • Baseline and final line evaluation.
  • Entry of digital information into IRC virtual platforms.
  • Feedback to Women’s Protection and Empowerment management and Association Officer on achievements, scope and challenges.
  • Facilitate coordination spaces to identify indicators, scope, challenges and challenges in the implementation of each partner’s methodologies.
  • First filter for review of reports, review of indicators and goals.

Monitoring and evaluation

  • Administrative consistency in implementation, achievement of goals and monitoring of indicators within the framework of the signed Agreements.

Others

  • Other tasks, as assigned by the immediate supervisor, to strengthen partners.

Qualifications

  • Administrative profile, experience in project management.
  • Sensitivity and confidentiality in information management and analysis capacity on issues of survivors, Gender-Based Violence and vulnerable groups.
  • One year experience in project management and management.
  • Excellent attitude, proactive, dynamic, empathetic, responsible, committed and with a vocation to work in addressing vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to lead and work as a team.
  • Strong ability to prioritize work under pressure and work in challenging environments.
