- Timely and safe driving of UNDP/UN employees, consultants, guests and visitors, at the authorization from the UNDP CO, Programme Management and UNDSS;
- Performing tasks related to the daily maintenance of the vehicle;
- Maintaining daily vehicle logs (mileage, fuel consumption, travel routs, signature of passengers) and submitting logs to direct supervisor on a timely basis;
- Ensuring that repair and maintenance services are performed on timely basis and at the authorization from the direct supervisor;
- Ensuring that all instructions regulating safe driving behaviour and Rules of the Road are in hand and strictly followed;
- Ensuring that the vehicle has valid insurance and first aid kit,
- Ensuring that the vehicle has PPEs (personal protection equipment) in a quantity sufficient for all the passengers and driver, trauma bag and satellite phone during the trips to the areas along the contract line and to the grey zone;
- Driving the UNDP vehicle for delivery and collection of mails, documents, pouches, equipment and other administrative tasks upon the request of direct supervisor;
- Assist in the organization of logistical preparation of field trips, visiting missions, etc.
- Assist in reviewing records related to in-country missions and field trips;
- Assist in preparation of Field Trip Reports to grant security clearance from Security Unit;
- Assist in vehicles history records preparation, collecting all vehicle related documentation (scan copies invoices, receipt, acts, insurance certificates, etc.);
- Loading/unloading of light cargos delivered by the vehicle;
- Providing clerical support to operational and programme activities;
- Assist in general maintenance of the office premises;
- Performing other duties as required.
Institutional Arrangement
Under the overall supervision of Project Manager and direct supervision of Operations Analyst in Kyiv, Driver/Clerk will be responsible for maintaining and driving office armoured/soft-skin vehicles.

Business Management: Communication:
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner both through written and verbal communication; to tailor messages and choose communication methods depending on the audience.
- Ability to manage communications internally and externally, through media, social media, and other appropriate channels.
- Secondary Education is required. Bachelor’s degree will be considered as an advantage but not a requirement;
- Valid Ukrainian driving license categories B and C/C1 (valid for driving both soft-skin and armored vehicles up to 5,500 kg).
- Minimum 4 years of professional driving experience.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of driving rules and regulations and skills in minor vehicle repair;
- Knowledge of protocol and customs issues;
- Safe driving record;
- Ability to drive in difficult /extreme situations.
Desired skills in addition to the competencies covered in the Competencies section:
- Experience of driving of armoured vehicles will be considered a strong asset;
- Previous experience of clerical office support will be considered an asset;
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel) will be considered an asset;
- Experience of working with international organizations/projects will be considered an asset.
Required Language(s) :
- Fluency in Ukrainian is required;
- Working level of English will be considered an asset.
