Purpose of Activity
Under the direct supervision of the Planning and Governance Officer and in coordination with the Executive Officer to the CEO, the consultant will develop tools and documents for the LAC FMM as well as develop initiatives aiming at ensuring attendance by key stakeholders and high-level representatives.
EXPECTED RESULTS
- Develop a tracking tool for high-level event participation;
- Establish a system and tools to ensure smooth information flow between teams in the context of the LAC FMM;
- Develop a database aiming at increasing efficiencies within the team and keeping track of milestones for the LAC FMM;
- Conduct research, analyze and present information for the development of at least 10 background documents;
- Develop a plan for post-meeting activities and communications;
- Develop one initiative aiming at ensuring attendance by key stakeholders and high-level representatives.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- A university degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Development Studies or related area
- A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in project management, planning or operations role.
- Prior experience in working with large volumes of data is highly desirable;
- Knowledge of project management software is desirable;
- Knowledge of UNICEF/UN System rules, regulations, procedures and systems is an asset but not required;
- Must be able to work in a high-volume, changing environment on tight deadlines;
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge in French and/or Spanish is considered an asset.
