How can you make a difference?
Under the guidance of the development partnership team, the selected candidate will:
Support the Chief of development partnerships in their day-to-day work and in capturing notes, preparing presentations and setting up meetings.
Event coordination- work with the team event manager to ensure adequate positioning of UNICEF with high-value channels in the development partnerships teamwork.
Support relevant working groups in capturing action points and following up on actions.
Support the team in coordinating co-creation work with the National committees.
Support the Development Partnerships team in the management of key internal, market and external stakeholders.
Assist in the development and execution of virtual donor experiences.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. degree programme or have graduated within the past two years.
Any past experience in a relevant field will be an asset.
Be proficient in English and have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English. Fluency in other UN working languages will be an asset.
Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.
Be ready and willing to take direction well and work in a dynamic, collaborative, multi-cultural environment
Have a general understanding of and interest in world affairs, current events and humanitarian issues.
Be at least 18 years old.
Have no immediate relatives (e.g., father, mother, brother, sister) working in any UNICEF office; and have no other relatives in the line of authority that the intern will report to
