How can you make a difference?
In this position, you will have to:
Information Management Systems:
– Provide technical expertise for the establishment and maintenance of an Information Management (IM) system for the project in conjunction with FAO
– having appropriate linkages and exchange with the Information Management System for Mine Action (IMSMA) and IM systems of partners.
– Ensure the accurate and timely management of project data.
– Develop and maintain data management protocols and procedures to ensure data integrity and quality.
– Design data analysis tools, IM products and establish data reporting mechanisms in conjunction with FAO.
Data Collection and Analysis:
– Working with project partners to establish workstreams to receive from implementation partners.
– Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to collect and validate project data.
– Conduct data analysis of information on both work streams of small farms and HH plots in conjunction with FAO contractors.
– Prepare regular reports and presentations on project activities and progress with a special focus on the mine action component of the project.
– Support the development of information products, including maps, charts, and infographics.
Information Sharing and Coordination:
– Facilitate the exchange and analysis of data among relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and international organizations.
– Coordinate with Operational Information Management (OIM) unit in WFP Ukraine and IM counterparts of partners (e.g FAO, FSD, GICHD, SESU, SSTS) to ensure interoperability and data sharing.
– Coordinate with other information management specialists to ensure interoperability and data sharing.
– Participate in the IM Working Group of the MA AoR.
Capacity Building and Training:
– Provide training and capacity building support to WFP and project partner personnel on information management systems and tools.
– Conduct workshops and seminars to enhance the understanding and use of information management standards and best practices.
– Support the development and delivery of training materials and resources.

Education: Advanced University degree in information management, computer science, or a related field or First University degree with additional years of relevant experience.
Experience: A minimum of 1 years of relevant postgraduate professional experience, preferably in the international humanitarian NGOs, civil service, government, social impact organisations and/or similar corporations. Professional experience in a mine action context is an asset. Additional years of relevant professional experience is an asset.
Knowledge & Skills: – Broad knowledge and experience in using information management systems,
– Familiarity with international mine action standards, such as International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) and the Information Management System for Mine Action (IMSMA).
– Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
– Proficiency with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.
Languages: National Professional: Fluency (Level C) in English and Ukrainian language is essential.
