About Tawhid Social and Development Organization-TSDO:

The Afghan non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political autonomous organization is called the Tawhid Social & Development Organization (TSDO). Education, vocational training, agriculture, nutrition, peacebuilding, conflict prevention, advocacy, research, humanitarian aid, disaster relief, livelihood, and protection are among the areas in which TSDO has been offering services since 2010.

Any form of sexual harassment, exploitation, or abuse (PSHEA) of beneficiaries or staff is not tolerated at all by TSDO. It is everyone’s duty to protect children from child exploitation and SHEA, and TSDO is steadfast in its commitment to doing just that.

Description of the Job:

use of project finance management techniques and resources.
using the QuickBooks software in the finance department to track all of the money spent.
managing finances in a transparent manner and using regular procedures.
educating project personnel on financial policies and practices.
supporting and helping organizations in the appropriate provinces with their finance and procurement needs.
Processing monthly wages by keeping track of employee timesheets, payrolls, and attendance records.
Creating project financial reports in their respective provinces and delivering them to the finance coordinator on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

Create monthly and quarterly costed work plans, procurement plans, and implementation finance plans in accordance with the project’s overall schedule and action plan.
Under the close supervision of provincial coordinators, maintaining records and documentation of total costs and establishing an appropriate file system at the provincial level.
Observe and make sure that the TSDO financial policies are properly documented and followed.
maintaining openness and guarding against fraud, corruption, and misappropriation of project funds.
Facilities needed to manage seminars, meetings, and trainings.

Job Requirements:

  • At least bachelor degree or equivalent related to BBA, Commerce and Accounting.
  • At least three years extensive experience of projects finance management and project management preferably in the province and with multi-partners.
  • Good knowledge of Afghan culture, sensitivities, and ethnic structure.
  • Ability to travel to target provinces.
  • Good communication and excellent reporting skills in English, ability to communicate in both local language is an advantage.
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office and accounting.
