Job Description:

  • Managing overall financial issues of the project
  • Establishing proper financial and admin/ HR filing system
  • Collecting financial data and documents, preparing financial reports and submitting the financial reports to SAF’s finance manager and the project manager, in a timely manner.
  • Developing admin/ HR filing system of the project in the province
  • Maintaining personal files of the project staff
  • Ensuring the expenditures are within budgetary limits and maintaining communication with
    project manager and SAF finance manager.
  • Ensuring that proper record keeping and expense procedures are implemented
    for operational and project expenses in accordance with donor and SAF rules  and regulations
  • Tracking record in accordance with budgets and budgets variance in compliance of account code and budget code of the project
  • Facilitating cash flow plans for expenses using budgets and actual cash flow with assistance of FM
  • Ensure all transaction are allocated according to budget and timely corrective actions are taken on vouchers errors.
  • Ensure payments are made in accordance with SAF Financial/procurement policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an update bank book to assist with monthly bank account reconciliations
  • Attend regular SAF meetings and provide reports on the related financial issues and make sure decisions are followed-up
  • Perform other duties assigned by the line manager

Job Requirements:

  • BBA, Diploma in finance
  • At least 3 year worked in area of Financial management
  • Prior experience in office administration
  • Good skill in computer operating
  • Good knowledge in communication skills
  • Good knowledge in English language
