About this job

The IDB country office in Uruguay is seeking a service-oriented Administrative Assistant Driver in the Administration area.  

You will work in the Corporate Sector of CSC/CUR. This team is responsible for, among other tasks, the comprehensive management of human, financial, and administrative resources. 

This is what you will do

  1. Assist with onboarding, onsite, and offboarding tasks for the Uruguay Team. 
  2. Support in the logistics and photographic record of projects, missions, meetings.
  3. Assist in coordinating security issues for the office and international staff. Update the communications tree. Manage security supplies (cameras, satellite phones, evacuation protocols, business continuity).
  4. Collaborate on initiatives that are part of the Corporate Sustainability Program, such as donations, inventories, and updating process flowcharts. 
  5. Collaborate in the organization and implementation of internal/external events, in coordination with other members of the CUR team  
  6. Coordinate mandatory training for state licenses, such as fire prevention, first aid, defensive driving, among others. 
  7. Make corporate purchases with the PCard 
  8. Carry out all in-person procedures and formalities before public and private organizations (mainly the Ministry of Public Works and Transport). 
  9. Responsible for the Representation’s vehicles (documentation control, policies, maintenance, among others). 
  10. Transport the Representative according to schedule. Assist in coordinating itineraries and travel schedules for CUR team members, Missions, and Authorities. 

This is what you need

-Experience:  At least 2 years of relevant experience in similar tasks. 

-Languages:   Mastery of Spanish is required

-Systems:  Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is required.

Requirements

Citizenship: You are a citizen of Uruguay or one of our 48 member countries . You are eligible to obtain a valid residence visa or work permit in Uruguay without the need for IDB sponsorship. 

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including your spouse) who work at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab. 

Type of contract and duration

National Consultant with full-time dedication and 100% in-person work.

Duration: 10 months (with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of 36 months depending on performance)

Place of work: Bank Representation in Montevideo, Uruguay.
