AIM

Provide administrative support for the programmatic priorities of UNICEF’s 2022-2026 Cooperation Program in Peru.

ACTIVITIES

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the development of the UNICEF Cooperation Program in Ucayali:
  • Request and follow-up of petty cash payments.
  • Mapping and registration of suppliers for food services, office supplies, and meeting and workshop venues.
  • Tracking the delivery of donations, supplies, and communication materials.
  • Consolidation of the office’s logistics needs.
  • Logistical support for events, meetings, and visits.
  • Ucayali Directory Update.
  • Provide support in the procedures and coordination of various public and private institutions within the framework of the implementation of the UNICEF-Ucayali Cooperation Program.
  • Participate in team meetings.
  • Organize records and documentation of activities carried out within the framework of the UNICEF Cooperation Program in Ucayali.
  • Monitor financial procedures to ensure the timely provision of services and the development of scheduled activities.
  • Other administrative and logistical functions assigned by the UNICEF Coordination in Ucayali.

REQUIRED PROFILE

  • University students over 18 years of age, with a minimum of three years of study, or recent graduates within the last two years, as demonstrated by proof of enrollment or graduation from the educational institution.
  • Have solid academic performance, demonstrated by a letter from the university or an academic supervisor.
  • Be fluent in the working language of the office you are applying for.
  • Be proficient in at least one of UNICEF’s working languages: English (desirable) or French (desirable).

MINIMUM CRITERIA

  • Proof of medical insurance with coverage for the entire internship period.
  • They must not have any immediate relatives (father, mother, brother (sister) working in a UNICEF office.
  • They must not have any relatives in the reporting line.

OBSERVATIONS

UNICEF appointments are subject to medical clearance. Visa issuance by the host country, facilitated by UNICEF, is required for international positions (IP). Vaccination requirements, including vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), are also required. If selected, you must be vaccinated as required or have a medical exemption from the relevant UN department. Failure to do so will result in your selection being cancelled.

Government employees considered for employment with UNICEF must resign from their position before taking up the position. UNICEF reserves the right to withdraw an offer of appointment without compensation if a visa or medical clearance is not obtained, or if vaccination requirements are not met within a reasonable period, for any reason.
