Job Title: Arts and Crafts Teacher
Location: Monrovia
Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Arts and Crafts Teacher to join our educational staff. The Arts and Crafts Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging arts and crafts lessons to students of various age groups. The ideal candidate will have a passion for arts education, a strong background in various artistic techniques and mediums, and the ability to inspire creativity and artistic expression in students.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement arts and crafts lesson plans that align with curriculum goals and objectives.
Teach students various artistic techniques, such as painting, drawing, sculpting, and crafting with different materials (e.g., clay, paper, fabric).
Demonstrate and encourage proper use and care of art materials and tools.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate students with varying abilities and learning styles.
Organize and supervise art projects, workshops, and exhibitions.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to foster their artistic development and skills.
Collaborate with other teachers, school staff, and parents to support students’ overall educational experience.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized arts studio or classroom environment.
Requirements:
Certificate in Fine Arts, Art Education, or related field.
Proven experience as an Arts and Crafts Teacher or similar role.
Proficiency in various artistic techniques and mediums, including but not limited to painting, drawing, sculpting, and crafting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching arts and crafts.
Ability to manage a classroom or studio environment effectively.
Experience in organizing art exhibitions, workshops, or community art projects is a plus.
