Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 45 years
  • Must have at least 5 years of practical experience in managing 05-06 Areas (25-30 Branches) simultaneously in credit operations in NGOs / Financial Institutions and should be proficient in reporting.
  • Must have a valid driving license capable of driving a motorcycle.
  • Note that experience is relaxable in case of candidates having Master’s Degree with Honors in any subject from Public University.
  • Female candidates will be given preference.

Responsibilities & Context

SKS Foundation is a national level recognized non-governmental development organization which has been implementing activities to improve the quality of life of the poor since 1987. The organization is certified by multiple institutions including the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) certificate (MRA-01621-00534-00045).

Responsibilities and work:

  • To strive to implement the goals and objectives of the organization by establishing good relations with all the people in the work area.
  • To implement activities with the Area Manager to maintain the progress of all the projects assigned to the organization’s microfinance program according to the action plan.
  • To understand the work and progress of the work from the staff through the concerned activity area manager who is responsible for the microfinance program according to the target.
  • To identify the problems and deviations of various microfinance activities implemented by the organization’s microfinance program and implement the activities by solving them in consultation with the coordinator (Field Operations-Microfinance).
  • To implement activities through coordination with all departmental heads and others concerned and with their cooperation as needed.
  • To promptly provide any information required by the management authority of the organization and arrange for information delivery.
  • Maintaining overall communication with the Coordinator (Field Operations-Microfinance) and implementing the given decisions at the field level for operationalizing the microfinance program and maintaining its momentum.
  • Assist in preparation of weekly and monthly reports and submit reports to Coordinator (Field Operations-Microfinance) of microfinance program/branches in charge within specified time frame.
  • To implement / follow up the activities directed by the management of the organization in various reports.
  • Organizing monthly coordination meetings as per the directions of the Coordinator (Field Operations-Microfinance), ensuring the implementation of the decisions of the coordination meetings at the field level. Ensuring the effectiveness of various coordination meetings at the field level. Providing necessary assistance to the Coordinator (Field Operations-Microfinance) in analyzing the implemented activities, identifying the problems, identifying the deviations and planning for the next activities and determining the implementation strategy.
  • Assisting donor organizations in specific field visits and taking feedback, formulating action plans with staff, branch managers and area managers based on feedback and taking measures to implement them.
  • Communicate and coordinate with government and private institutions and dignitaries.
  • Solving the various problems identified related to the activities and executing the activities as per the annual work plan.
  • Team work with staff for the benefit of the work area, execution of work based on the report of the visit team, verifying the progress of the work through monitoring.
  • Sanctioning loan as per ceiling.
  • Assist in analyzing and making various ratios.
  • Determining strategies and taking necessary measures to increase the working efficiency of subordinate workers.
  • Taking necessary measures to formulate and implement strategies for controlling financial irregularities and taking necessary measures to strengthen team work among employees.

Compensation & Other Benefits

  • 2 days weekly leave, P.F., Gratuity, Medical Care Allowance, Baisakhi Allowance, Two Festival Allowance, Fuel Allowance, will be provided.
  • Additional allowance will be provided in case of designated expensive areas.
