Job Description
Project Description:
The overall objective of the Sinergia+ project is to generate management processes that strengthen CONANP and
enable it to become a results-based planning institution, with strong financial resources and
effective governance mechanisms and strategic alliances, contributing to increasing connectivity between
representative ecosystems to safeguard their biodiversity and ecological balance.
The Sinergia+ project has four strategic outcomes: 1) Institutional Efficiency; 2) Governance,
Citizen Participation and Collaboration Networks; 3) Ecological Representativeness and Connectivity; 4) Strategic Projects.
Within the framework of the Sinergia+ Project, the person to be contracted will carry out the following activities in support of the
Directorate in charge of International Designations Affairs, attached to the General Directorate of
Institutional Strengthening and International Affairs, to strengthen, within their mandate, the implementation, support and
monitoring of management processes related to UNESCO international designations.
This position contributes to the achievement of the goals of Outcome 1 “Institutional Efficiency”.
Scope of Work
- Assist in coordinating the preparation of conservation status reports, as well as monitoring requests for ANPs registered on UNESCO’s list of natural and mixed World Heritage sites.
- Assist in the proposals for annual priorities regarding CONANP’s participation in the UNESCO World Heritage Convention.
- Assist in the organization and logistics of meetings, events, workshops, missions, and other activities to monitor CONANP’s participation in UNESCO’s international designations.
- Assist in the proposals for addressing requests for information received from UNESCO international designations.
- Assist in the coordination and management of projects carried out in ANPs with an international designation to promote the harmonization and synergy of international commitments.
Institutional Arrangement
The contracted individual will work under the direct technical supervision of the Directorate of International Appointments Affairs, the General Directorate of Institutional Strengthening and International Affairs, and the General Coordinator of the Sinergia+ Project.

Minimum Academic Requirements:
Candidates with a high school certificate or a bachelor’s degree in: Environmental Sciences, Biology, Architecture, Archaeology or similar fields.
Minimum Years of Experience:
For candidates with a high school diploma, seven years of verifiable experience are required, and for candidates with a bachelor’s degree, four years of experience in the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage are required. Candidates with a master’s and/or doctoral degree do not require prior experience.
Required Skills:
