CIMMYT seeks to recruit young dynamic development professional as Training Assistant or Analyst to be based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Duties and Responsabilities:

Assist the training coordinator in developing partnership agreements for training in different projects of CIMMYT.
Coordinate with training providers, vendors, or consultants to ensure training programs are delivered effectively and efficiently.
Liaising with the partners, coordinate training schedules and ensure their timely implementation.
Assist in developing training materials and resources, such as presentations, handouts, and assessments in Bangla and English.
Collect feedback from participants and trainers to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
Compile and analyze data on training metrics, such as attendance, satisfaction, and performance.
Assist in creating reports to summarize training activities and outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of training programs, including attendance and completion certificates.
Provide administrative support to the training team, such as managing email correspondence, scheduling meetings, and updating training calendars.
Willingly and pro-actively perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Agriculture, Horticulture, Education, Honors, Training, Learning & development, social sciences, development studies).
At least 3-4 years of experience working in iNGO/ UN /CGIAR/ research organizations.
Experienced working in multi-cultural organizations.
Experience in training coordination, especially experience in agriculture training is preferable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Excellent writing and speaking skills in both Bangla and English.
Ability to keep updated with latest developments and open to learn anything new.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with training, evaluation and reporting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Experience in managing training budgets and resources.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
Experience in collaborating with local partners, government officials, and community stakeholders.
The selected requires the following competencies: Team Leadership, Negotiation, Resolution, Client Orientation, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving.
The position is for Bangladesh Nationals for an initial fixed-term contract of 1-year with 3 months probationary period, which further employment is subject to performance and the continued availability of funds.
