CIMMYT seeks to recruit young dynamic development professional as Training Coordinator to be based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Duties and Responsabilities:

Work with the training manager in developing partnerships for training in different projects of CIMMYT.
Coordinate with other scientific staff to identify and compile the training needs in different programs of CIMMYT and the innovation science portfolio.
Coordinate with training providers, vendors, or consultants to ensure training programs are delivered effectively and efficiently.
Guide training assistants in the team and partners in the projects in developing training materials and resources, such as presentations, handouts, and assessments in Bangla and English.
Plan, develop and execute innovative and creative participatory training approaches including simulation learning, video-based lesson plans, and digital transformation for learning & development.
Ensure the delivery of quality training in all programs across CIMMYT Bangladesh.
Take a lead on creating reports to summarize training activities and outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of training programs across projects through a centralized training database for CIMMYT Bangladesh
Willingly and pro-actively perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Master’s degree in agriculture extension and communication or relevant field (Agriculture, Horticulture) with experience in training programs.
At least 7-8 years of experience working in iNGO, UN, CGIAR, or research organizations
Experienced working in multi-cultural organizations.
Experience in training coordination, partnership management, or training program management.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Excellent writing and speaking skills in both Bangla and English.
Ability to keep updated with latest developments and open to learn anything new.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with training, evaluation, and reporting.
Ability and willingness to travel within the country.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences, including project staff, partners, and stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Needs demonstrated supervisor and GoB liaison skills.
Experience in managing training budgets and resources.
Experience in collaborating with local partners, government officials, and community stakeholders.
The selected requires the following competencies: Team Leadership, Negotiation, Resolution, Client Orientation, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving.
The position is for Bangladesh Nationals for an initial fixed-term contract of 1-year with 3 months probationary period, which further employment is subject to performance and the continued availability of funds.
