Job Summary

The Cameraman captures scenes for film or television, working closely with producers to achieve artistic objectives. Responsibilities include shooting news, commercials, or TV programs, covering events, maintaining equipment, and ensuring recording quality.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with producers and performers to ascertain lighting requirements for various productions.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of camera equipment to achieve artistic objectives as defined by the production team.
  • Work within the motion picture industry to capture scenes for movies, commercials, or television programs using film.
  • Frequently engage in creative collaboration with other technicians, directors, editors, actors, and assistants to explore and implement innovative filming techniques.
  • Cover a wide range of events, including studio programs, television series, motion pictures, music videos, as well as news and sports events.
  • Proactively anticipate and rectify any technical issues during shows and on-location shoots.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of camera equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a high degree of quality during recording sessions by operating control consoles effectively.
  • Continuously monitor camera equipment, both in-house and on external sets, to ensure functionality and readiness.
  • Oversee the operation of equipment and systems to deliver high-quality recordings.
  • Handle the recording and live broadcasting of shows, ensuring that all visual elements meet the production’s requirements.

Job Requirements

• at least two years experience in a reputable media company as a cameraman

• High School Graduate

• Must have Knowledge of maintaining and repairing camera equipment.

• Must have knowledge of digital show production.

• Must have the ability to shoot content considering different locations and angles.
