UNICEF is looking for a seasoned professional who will provide professional support to implement the Child Protection programme interventions of the UNICEF Country Office with a focus on Children in Armed Conflict. Requirements:
- Education: An advanced university degree preferably in human rights/IHL law, international development or social/political sciences. A first-level university degree in lieu of an advanced degree may be accepted with additional two years of experience.
- Work Experience: A minimum of five (5) years’ experience at national and international levels in child protection, including international work experience. Background with Protection in Emergency and previous experience on the MRM/CAAC and on CAAFAG.
- Background/familiarity with Emergency situations.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (French, Spanish, Arabic, or Russian) or the local language is an asset.
