    Design/Printing/Publishing, IT Enabled Service, Development Agency, Web Media/Blog

Additional Requirements

  • Age 26 to 32 years
  • Proven experience in design (banner, poster, placard, book, brochure) and video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Wonder Share, After Effects, etc.).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design work, including digital visuals, videos, and multimedia content, digital communication.
  • Experience in 2D and 3D motion graphics is a plus.
  • Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on high-quality output.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and environmental issues is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Bengali.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities & Context

The Coastal Livelihood and Environmental Action Network (CLEAN) is looking for a creative and dedicated professional to join their team as a Communication Officer. This exciting role focuses on creating engaging visuals for digital campaigns, digital communication, designing research publications and innovative demonstrations to support CLEAN’s campaigns, advocacy efforts, and outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas and a passion for sustainability to help drive impactful change.

Working Environment

  • Job Station: Khulna city (around 70% of the time) but frequent visits are required to the communities (around 30% of the time)
  • Report to: Communication Coordinator
  • Coordinate with: Communication Team, Campaign Team, Research Team, and Finance & Admin Team
  • Work Days: Saturday – Thursday except for the public holidays
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break
  • Duration: Two years initially with an option of extension

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and upkeep the maintenance of the organizational WEBs and WAPP
  • Maintaining documentation and communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, blogs, social media posts, and other written content.
  • Develop creative and visually compelling designs (banners, posters, placards, social media cards) for programs, campaigns, digital campaigns, and research publications.
  • To effectively communicate key messages, create high-quality videos (with sound, effects, and graphics to produce professional and engaging outputs), including animations, explainer videos, and campaign highlights.
  • Collaborate with the communication, campaign and research teams to conceptualize and design innovative visuals and content.
  • Design graphics, infographics, and visual materials that align with CLEAN’s branding and advocacy goals.
  • Staying updated on design and video-making trends to ensure content remains fresh and impactful.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality.
  • Assist in developing creative strategies to enhance the visibility and effectiveness of CLEAN’s campaigns and outreach efforts.
  • Work with other colleagues for progress and prosperity.
