In Bangladesh, ACTED is launching an emergency operation to respond to the Rohingya Refugee Crisis in the sector of Site Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, Community Based Protection, Information Management, Emergency Preparedness, and Response, CDCS in the Camps of the Kutupalong-Balukhali Expansion Site, Cox’s Bazar. .

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant subject with 2/3 years of experience Diploma in any relevant subject with 3/ 4 years experience

Additional Requirements

  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Proven experience in working with similar sewing and production activities, especially in camp context. Excellent knowledge of sewing machine types and their maintenance.Strong organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with both field teams, local authorities, and local communities Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as well as the ability to plan, take initiative and organize work independently. Positive attitude and a willingness to learn Comfortable working in refugee camp settings and spending majority of time in the field Comfortable working in a cross-cultural environment
