Job Description:
Duties and responsibilities:
- Sweeping and cleaning of Guest House rooms twice a week including the window glasses.
Sweeping and cleaning the guest room, office, and house twice a week, along with cleaning the glass.
- Wash and iron the curtains, glass sheet and clean all the rooms of guest house.
Washing and ironing curtains, window coverings, and cleaning all guest rooms in the office.
- To dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, windowsills, and external surfaces of cupboards, shelves and fitment of the designated rooms.
Dusting, damp cleaning, washing or polishing office furniture, edges, window sills and exterior surfaces of cabinets, shelves and furnishings in designated rooms.
- To clean toilets, hand basins, sinks, baths, showers and drinking water purifier in guest house and office.
Cleaning toilets, sinks, kitchen sinks, bathrooms, showers, and drinking water dispensers in guest houses and offices.
- Check the anti-fire balloons and share the report with line manager on weekly basis. To ensure the office bulbs are in place and active.
Checking fire extinguishers and reporting to the relevant supervisor weekly, ensuring that office groups are active and organized.
- Ability of cooking basic Afghan food for Staff
Having the skills to cook Afghani food for domestic and foreign employees
- Cooking for Staff during the working hours when it needed.
Cooking food for personnel if necessary.
- Cleaning of the rooms in the guest house and replenishing consumable items (hand wash liquid, toilet rolls, tissue paper etc…) for guest house and office.
Cleaning guest rooms and refilling consumables (toilet paper, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) for the guest house and office.
- Report on the activities on a weekly basis.
Giving weekly activity reports.
- Any other official tasks assigned by the line manager.
Perform any other official duties assigned by the commander.

Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience: Qualification and experience
- Primary education or 12 class graduation is desirable
Having an elementary education and graduating from 12th grade is also desirable.
- 2/3 years previous relevant experience with INGOs
At least 3 years of experience in cleaning and cooking is required.
- Familiarity to English language is desirable and counts an advantage.
Knowledge of English is considered a good advantage.
- Ability to speak read & write ِDari or Pashto.
Ability to speak, read and write Dari or Pashto.
