Position Description:
The position will support the Field Officer to ensure the availability of reliable, high-quality data to monitor and report on the programme. In strong collaboration with the team and project team, the Data Management Assistant will play an important role in improving data quality and information management to strengthen analytical processes and facilitate knowledge sharing and learning across the project. The Data Management Assistant will report to the Field Officer
Responsibilities:
- Develop open data kit and excel database.
- Develop virtual MIS filing systems.
- Analyze the project data to contribute to evaluation reports.
- Input collected information into databases through smart phones and/or PCs in a timely manner.
- Review and clean data to ensure quality, accuracy, completeness.
- Translate interviews and survey responses.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports to the relevant project staff, tasks completed, challenges encountered and possible solutions.
- Participate in trainings on data collection techniques and data analysis.
- When requires assist the Project Coordinator in project monitoring evaluation and data analysis.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, ethics, integrity, confidentiality, and respect for the respondents.
- When requires travel in the project coverage areas.
- The holder of this position must strictly follow the organization’s existing security policies, procedures, and daily instructions of the safety personnel.
- Any other duties assigned by the line manager.
Education/ Qualification and Employment Benefits

Other qualifications’ an advantage:
- Familiarity with MIS software, data management tools

Languages: Oral and written fluency in (English, Dari, Pashto)
