The Institute for Public Health in Practice (OPHA) is an independent, non-political, non-governmental, and non-profit organization established in October 2017 and officially registered with the respective Ministries of Economy and Public Health. The organization is committed to the development of Afghanistan and focuses on implementing projects in the health, social development, capacity building, and empowerment of women and youth.

The People’s Health Institute has provided valuable services in various sectors of health, nutrition, community development and research in Paktika, Parwan, Faryab, Paktia, Logar, Nangarhar, Laghman and Kunar provinces. Currently, this institute, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health, is providing health services to the honorable people of Logar, Nangarhar, Laghman and Kunar provinces. Main responsibilities:

• Providing excellent dental services in line with the basic health care package
• Providing health education to clients regarding dental care
• Implementation of quality assurance standards, especially infection prevention standards
• Ensuring the provision of quality health services to all clients.
• Register all clients using the national Health Information Management System (HMIS) guidelines.
• Referring patients who need specialized services to higher authorities
• Preparing and submitting an activity report
• Performing other official duties as directed by the relevant superior.
• Raise and improve the working capacity of himself and his deputy in accordance with national guidelines.

• Having Afghan citizenship
• Graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry (Stomatology) with Afghanistan Medical Council Exit Exam
• Have at least one year of work experience in the dentistry sector.
• Ability to communicate and understand in the languages ​​spoken in the workplace
• Having moral qualities (patience, compassion, caution, etc.).
• Observing all Islamic standards.

Advisory and supervisory authorities :

• Hospital manager
• Employees of the relevant institution

Prohibitions :

• Expressing opinions or representing OPHA without the prior consent of the responsible person .
• Using OPHA property or assets for personal purposes .
• Other prohibitions are fully specified in the internal employee regulations, taking into account its disciplinary criteria.
