Mission and objectives
Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (IICPSD) supports the private sector and foundations to become transformative partners in development through research, advocacy for inclusive business, facilitation of public-private dialogue and brokering partnerships. IICPSD, established in 2011 in partnership with the Government of Turkey, is one of UNDP’s six Global Policy Centres. It leads UNDP’s global work on private sector and foundations and supports UNDP’s offices all over the world. The Center focuses on four thematic areas: 1. Inclusive Business; 2. Private Sector Engagement in Skills Development; 3. Impact investing; 4. Resilience and Crisis Response. The Center also hosts four global initiatives: Business Call to Action, SDG Philanthropy Platform, Global Islamic Finance and Impact Investing Platform and Connecting Business Initiative.

Context
The volunteers will be working under the thematic area of “Private Sector Engagement in Digital Transformation and Skills Development”. Their work will involve supporting portfolio initiatives such as the SDG AI Lab and Entrepreneurial Skills Development Initiative for the SDGs and Skills for Inclusive Future.

Task description
ICPSD is seeking Online Volunteers to support content creation, editing, and quality assurance for various projects. The volunteers will collaborate with teams to ensure accurate, engaging, and well-structured content across different mediums. The support tasks expected from the online volunteers will include:  1. Editing and reviewing written content (reports, articles, etc.) for accuracy, clarity, and consistency. 2. Ensuring adherence to established style guides and editorial standards. 3. Collaborating with team members to ensure content accuracy and effective communication. 4. Proofreading and quality checking final deliverables before publication or distribution. 5. Reviewing and editing 5-10 articles, approximately 20 pages, every week
