Job Summary

The electrician will be responsible for all electrical-related equipment and should be able to fix, repair, and do wiring/cabling for electrical equipment, he should be able to do the above-mentioned tasks in a technical and skilled manner and take care of the standard safety system.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all normal and emergency power systems.
  • Need to involve diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Be able to work with AC power systems up to 400V and DC power systems up to 48V.
  • Use test equipment to test generator power systems, control circuits, UPS systems, batteries, grounding, isolated power, rectifiers, ground-fault circuits/outlets, and other equipment related to power.
  • Maintain different types of power outlets, lights, and all general electrical works.
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Estimate necessary materials and tools as per the required plan and follow the plan on time.
  • Report to the supervisor specifying the work done by him and if any issues.
  • Ability to follow safety standards in working with power systems and tools.
  • Try to understand and improve his technical knowledge of generator alternator, transformer, AMF panel, Distribution board, and other electrical equipment.
  • Should have information regarding other technical parts like generator mechanisms, DC, and AC systems.
  • Be familiar with official equipment and devices.
  • Be able to use Electrical devices correctly.

Job Requirements

  • High School graduate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Should follow the company’s official policies and rules.
  • Work on shifts according to a shift schedule if required.
  • Be able to travel on the job site.
  • Be able to read and understand electrical diagrams
  • Should have good relations and manners with other staff.
  • Should respect the company sub-contractors, and vendors and have good relations with them.
  • Should have an interest in technical training programs to improve his technical knowledge.
  • Should be able to do a proper job with less possible expenses.
