Overview
Jhpiego Kenya is at an exciting opportunity to reimagine and revitalize the office working areas in Kenya. The organization is embarking on a journey of transformation and is seeking a visionary Graphic Designer to work as a consultant with the communications team to bring its brand identity to life within its physical workspace in Nairobi – Kenya. This scope of work encompasses a comprehensive rebranding initiative aimed at creating a dynamic and inspiring environment that reflects the organization’s mission, values, and commitment to making a positive impact on society.
The key deliverables will include:
Conceptualizing design elements to executing branded materials
Signage
Digital displays
The design work will be for two wings of an office with about ten (10) separate offices and about five (5) commons spaces (meeting rooms and reception). This is a consultancy role and the assignment will take ten working days.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Jhpiego Kenya communications team to understand branding goals and objectives
Develop design concepts that align with Jhpiego Kenya’s mission and values
Design and produce a range of branded materials, including logos, graphics, icons, and signage
Create wall graphics and murals to enhance the Jhpiego Kenya office environment
Design branded stationery and editorial items, office supplies, and promotional merchandise
Apply branding elements to office furniture, fixtures, and environmental surfaces
Design digital signage content and templates for display screens and monitors
Organize and participate in employee engagement activities related to the rebranding effort
Required Qualifications
Experience in graphic design is required
Fluency in current graphic design practices particularly the latest Adobe Creative Suite package (working on Apple Mac) or another related field required
Strong communication skills and an ability to work within a dynamic and collaborative team environment
Excellent organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to carry environmental branding, with attention to detail and deadlines
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing effective media and communications materials that increase the visibility of an organization
Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Publisher, Illustrator and InDesign
