Overview of position
CTG staff and support humanitarian projects in fragile and conflict-affected countries around the world, providing a rapid and cost-effective service for development and humanitarian missions. With past performance in 17 countries – from the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia, we have placed more than 20,000 staff all over the world since operations began in 2006.
CTG recruits, deploys and manages the right people with the right skills to implement humanitarian and development projects, from cleaners to obstetricians, and mechanics to infection specialists, we’re skilled in emergency response to crises such as the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Key to successful project delivery is the ability to mobilise at speed; CTG can source and deploy anyone, anywhere, in less than 2 weeks and have done so in 48 hours on a number of occasions.

Role objectives
Specific tasks and responsibilities
A.Health facility monitoring and supervision.
1.Visit at least 20 HFs (EPI fix, outreach, mobile) once in every month to monitor, supervise and support vaccination team in HFs and MHTs visited and ensure that EPI activities are implemented according to plan and best practices.
2.To provide on the job training for vaccinators during visit based on observed and documented evidence in areas that require improvement.
3.To flag and report urgently any challenge/issue that require urgent attention of the R/PEMTs, DoPH, R/PEOC
B.Polio Eradication
1.Participate in NID (National Immunization days) monitoring and support vaccination teams to ensure they have adequate supplies, and implement campaign based on plan and assist in resolving any refusals that may be encountered by the teams.
2.Participate in evening review meeting and ensure all reported/observed weakness are address as part of plan for subsequent day campaign activities.
C.Reporting and coordination
1.Prepare monthly report of the HF visit that include vaccine and non-vaccine supplies situation, good practices observed, areas requiring improvement, actions taken at field level and key recommendations for follow-up
2.Share monthly report based on the agreed template, either online or hard copy or both as may be requested by the R/PEMT.
3.Participate in EPI and PEI microplanning processes.
4.Participate in EPI sub-committee meetings and R/PVLC and provide suggestions and recommendations on EPI improvement actions
5.Participate in NGO monthly HF in charge meetings and provide constructive feedback on how to improve EPI performances based on the findings from the HF visits
In addition to above, the EPI Monitor Coordinator (EMC), one person to be selected from the monitors will
1.Develop monitoring and supervision plan for all monitors and is to ensure all monitors implement those plans within the month
2.Collate, analysis and provided harmonized EPI monitoring/supervision report each month to the R/PEMT, R/PEOC
3.Carry out any other task assigned by the line manager

QUALIFICATION and COMPETENCIES
- ·Education: Graduate Medical doctor and/or experience nurse
- ·Work Experience: At least 4 years of professional work experience in immunization space.
- ·Skills: Supervision/monitoring and data collection, good communication skills
