Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of Exemption Helpdesk/ASYREC Coordinator, the incumbent will be primarily engaged in the assisting humanitarian agencies’ Exemptions operations through Exemption/ASYREC helpdesk in the relevant duty station in consideration with rules and regulations defined by the United Nations.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Assist in maintaining Exemption Functional System in the relevant duty station.
2. Assist in implementation of ASYREC system in the relevant Custom.
3. Prepare the request for a customized Exemption System based on beneficiary’s requests.
4. Coordinate the Exemption System matters at the provincial level.
5. Delivery the Exemption System training for the users.
6. Provide Help Desk Support to UN agencies NGOs/INGOs and other humanitarian agencies for Exemption and ASYREC systems.
7. Installation of the required software in client’s computers as and when needed.
8. Provide Exemption System basic IT Support to the users.
9. Providing monthly, quarterly, and yearly activity reports to their immediate supervisor.
10. Keeping the record of all user-related documents in a proper filing system.
11. All other tasks assigned by the management.

Capacity Development: Ability to deliver training sessions to NGOs/INGOs, UN agencies in relation to the ASYCUDA Exemption system functionalities and ASYREC system.
Monitoring and evaluation: Ability to travel to the provinces to monitor the progress of work or evaluate the data and prepare a report to the management.
Professionalism: Good technical, analytical and communication skills, including ability to identify and participate in the resolution of issues/problems.
Planning and Organizing: Proven ability to establish priorities and to implement their daily activities as per the given plan and give report to the management.
Creativity: Ability to actively seek to improve programmes/services, offer new and different options to solve problems/meet client needs.
Teamwork: Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, management, Agricultural science, Engineering, IT or other relevant fields.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in Exemption system, logistics, IT or other relevant fields
Computer Skills:
Working knowledge and experience using Ms. Office Package, Data base
Language Requirement:
Strong knowledge in written and spoken English and excellent knowledge of national languages (Pashto and Dari) are required. Translation of document to local languages will be added asset.
Job Location:
Multi-Provinces (Kabul, Nangarhar, Balkh, Hirat, Faryab, Nimroz, Kandahar, Farah & Kunduz Provinces). The selection of the duty station will be done by the management of UNCTAD; therefore, the candidates (if selected) have to be able to travel to any duty station assigned by the management.
