We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Finance Intern to join our team for a six-month period. The intern will acquire hands-on experience in bookkeeping and posting transactions in the online financial management system.
This position is based in Nairobi based on local contractual conditions. Expatriation is not intended.
These are your responsibilities
Ensure the completeness of the books of accounts
Organize documents into physical files.
Digitize the physical documents by scanning them.
Virtually file the scanned documents in chronological order on the server.
Enter transactions into the financial management software and attach the relevant support documents
These are your qualifications
Holds a university degree in accounting, business management or related field. Progress towards CPA/ACCA qualification is an added advantage.
Proficient in English. Knowledge of French is an additional asset
Ready to learn and solution oriented
Captures data fast and accurately
Excellent in data management
Good understanding of Processes, Systems & Applications
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Office 365
Willingness to adhere and commit to CBM’s Code of conduct, CBM Values and Safeguarding Policy
