About Afghanistan Rehabilitation & Development Program:
Afghanistan Rehabilitation and Development Program (ARDP) is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political and non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to fostering positive social and economic changes in Afghanistan. established in 2005 and registered with the Government of Afghanistan, under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy (MoEc) with a mission to contributes in developing and self-sustaining Afghan society through engagement in Health, Education and Agriculture.
Since 2005, ARDP has been actively involved in implementing over 80 projects, collaborating with reputable organizations and foreign donor agencies.
ARDP has formed strategic partnership with esteemed organizations such as UNHCR, UNDP, FAO, UNOCHA, NAC, WHO, UNDCP, Canada Help for Afghanistan, CRCA, Relief International, ECHOHEMAL, Habitat, UNICEF, IMC, Gorraff Austria, and other foreign donor agencies.
Job Description:
- Preparation of monthly cash and bank disbursement journals 30th or 31th of every month
- Analyzing financial report on monthly, quarterly, yearly bases.
- Developing financial budget for projects
- Preparing monthly financial report, and analyzing field report.
- Prepare financial reports required by the donners and management time to time.
- Review of all cash advances liquidations to ensure correct coding and adequate supporting documentation is attached.
- To maintain up-to-date bookkeeping of the project’s financial transactions and ensure the running balance tally with the cash count.
- To manage and track petty cash accounts.
- Ensure data is entered and transactions are properly recorded in the system.
- To prepare monthly expenses reports and maintain a clear monthly cashbook, bank book & balance record.
- To ensure that all accounting system is done as per the rules and ready for auditing.
- To prepare and reconcile all types of vouchers (advance, expense, and receipt vouchers) on daily/weekly and/or monthly bases.
- Checking all expenses according to the budget line.
- To process and track all payments of the company.
- To properly handle operational expenses of the office.
- To file all financial documents and label the files as advised by the system.
- The finance officer will be responsible for updating monthly & quarterly financial reporting and clearance of project financial at the provincial and central levels.
- He will be responsible for checking of 100% of vouchers are prepared according to company policies.
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation on Monthly basis.
- Must have Knowledge of Auditing Process and to Collaborate with Auditors to prepare documents required by the Auditors.
- Any other which is assigned by the finance Manager.
Job Requirements:
- University degree in finance or economics or equivalent certified by relevant higher education authority in Afghanistan or other countries Master Degree is Preferred.
- At least 4-year experience in positions of accounting and finance.
- Training in financial reporting.
- Fluency in Dari/Pashto and English (Reading/Writing)
