BACKGROUND
Humanitarian Organization for the People of Afghanistan (HOPA) is established in 2022. HOPA shares experience and have partnership with Health & Educational Program for Afghanistan (HELP) which was Established in 2007 and Mrasta Charity Foundation (MCF) which was established in 2020. HOPA is a non-governmental, non-profit youth and women led (NGO) registered under registration No. 5412 with the Ministry of Economy, Afghanistan, HOPA is dedicated to provide emergency aid and support humanitarian assistance for Afghans in various parts of the country. vulnerable, women, men, youth, and children and in particularly social affairs, Agriculture, Health, Reconstruction and Returnees addressing the most urgent needs of the target groups through service provision and advocacy efforts to alleviate poverty and build their resilience.
In order to enhance long-term sustainable development at the community level, HOPA employs holistic and strong people for delivering successful projects, hence working across various sectors with all community stakeholders, while prioritizing the rights and needs of the society. It indicates strengthening the participation of our target groups so that to stabilize planning, implementation and monitoring of HOPA’s projects and the development of local ownership of both progressed process and results, Kabul and Kandahar provinces.Job Description:

Assist in sensitization of local government structures, communities and traditional authorities on the targeting criteria and identification and registration of the beneficiaries for the delivery of cash assistance
Organize for inception and community sensitization meetings
Conducting awareness raising and messaging for affected beneficiaries on the program
Participate in weekly/ monthly zonal meetings
Raise awareness on the use of community feedback mechanisms.
Facilitating coordination with authorities for all activities.
Developing monthly detailed program activity implementation plans for the interventions; Assist in the registration of target families, ensuring that the data is collected and is recorded appropriately
Conducting awareness raising and messaging for affected beneficiaries on the program
Actively participate in relevant field assessments to identify the beneficiaries’ needs, ensuring assessment findings are documented and that all assessments include a specific analysis of children’s need
Analyze food security situation and prevailing trends and provide constructive written feedback
Preparing weekly and monthly report.
Participate during program assessments as may be determined by the project manager
Documentation of best practices for learning purposes and increase program visibility

Job Requirements:

 

Required Professional Experience
At least 3 years of community mobilization experience in health
Experience in cash transfer projects is highly preferred
Experience in developing action plans, preparing curriculum and training materials (health, nutrition and immunization)
Experience in documentation and reporting
Experience working with community leaders (Community Based Structures)
Experience in adult learning methodology and monitoring of training activities
Results oriented and good team-player
Good computer skills, including thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet use.
Required Education

High school graduate
