The IRC opened the country program in Afghanistan in 1988. Our programs span the range from humanitarian relief to early recovery and development activities, focusing on child protection, education, economic wellbeing, health, and power. The IRC works in 10 provinces throughout Afghanistan, among which some of the most security volatile, and employs over 1000 staff.

  • The IRC has zero tolerance approach to the IRC Code of Conduct including safeguarding violations being committed by its staff, consultants, contractors, volunteers, interns, suppliers, vendors, sub-grantees/partners, implementing partners or any other associate.

Job Description:

  1. Scanning of Active and Inactive personnel files to keep in hard drive.
  2. Arranging/sorting of active files for new hired staff
  3. Responsible for the office notice boards, positing of information, clearing old information, proper arrangement.
  4. Learning in posting of job advertisements, receiving, and sorting applications. Ensure all applications are organized and cleanly maintained until the closing date of the relevant announcement.
  5. Learning of HR Process and procedure
  6. Learning and assisting in maintaining personnel files. Ensure all relevant documents are filed for Kabul office.
  7. Responsible for keeping update all personnel files both in soft and hard copies.
  8. Receiving of documents from field and arrange them to box files.
  9. Learning and Responsible for updating HRIS database.
  10. Carries out other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
  11. preparation appointments, meetings.
  12. provide clerical assistance to management and staff.
  13. Renewal office contracts on time.
  14. Manage office kitchen.
  15. Check the availability and the need for office materials.
  16. Provide accommodation for office guests.

Job Requirements:

  1. Fresh Graduated from University or on going.
  2. Excellent English and Dari/Pashtu
  3. Must have computer skills.
  4. Good organizational and reporting skill
  5. Ability to work under pressure.
  6. Prior experience working in a multi-cultural environment is an added advantage
