The HR Consultant will support the ACO HR unit in drafting and finalizing Recruitment Reports to ensure the timely closure of the recruitment processes.

How can you make a difference?

The HR consultant will work in close collaboration with the HR Specialist, and under the supervision of the Chief HR, to prepare the Recruitment Reports for the submission of the recruitment cases to the appointment authorities. In particular, he/she will:

1. Attend the interviews as Rapporteur and take notes

2. Ensure all comments from Panel members are captured in the notes

3. Draft the selection report as per UNICEF guidance and circulate among panel members for feedback

4. Compile the inputs from panel members and submit to the HR Focal Point for final review and approval

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • A Master’s any relevant to the Organization. HR, communication, and marketing will con considered an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in recruitment activities and preparation of HR official documentation.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Experience in an international organization is an asset
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
