As an HR Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the remuneration and compensation process, supporting recruitment efforts, and overseeing various HR functions for national staff. Reporting to the Country HR Manager, you will ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Process monthly payroll and staff benefits (NSIF) for national staff, ensuring accurate and timely adjustments.
Provide support in reviewing national staff compensation and benefits.
Address queries related to national staff compensation and benefits.
Assist in the recruitment process for national staff in Juba and field offices, working closely with HR Assistant and HR Specialist.
Support the induction of new staff, focusing on national staff HR issues.
Help HR Assistant maintain well-organized and updated national staff files.
Maintain electronic records and employee files.
Assist in developing national staff development plans.
Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
Arrange staff social functions.
Foster good relationships with the Ministry of Labor and RRC Offices.
Participate in general meetings where senior national staff presence is required.
Support HR Specialist in monitoring and reviewing HR processes and procedures to drive improvements in national staff HR management
Experience/ Technical Competencies and Education required

Proven experience as an HR Generalist
Higher Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences, Law, or related field
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Dynamics) is a plus
Excellent communication and people skills
Aptitude in problem-solving
Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach
Patience and understanding to work with and develop the capacity of team member
Experience delivering programs to tight deadlines;
Good computer and IT skills, as well as good, understanding of basic protection information management principles;
Previous work experience in the support field.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Ability to prioritize and structure work in a busy environment.
High attention to detail.
Experience with office equipment (printer, scanner, photocopier, etc.).
Proactive, able to work with limited supervision.
Commitment to a team approach.
Organized, responsible, flexible, reliable, and trustworthy
Languages:

Fluency in written and spoken Arabic,
Good command in written and spoken English
Fluency in Local language is an advantage.
