Job Description:
The HR Officer at DWSSO is a pivotal role responsible for managing and executing a range of human resource functions. This includes recruitment, staff development, performance management, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies. The HR Officer will support the creation of a positive work environment, fostering a culture of growth, respect, and dedication to our mission.
Job Requirements:
The individual would be responsible for the following activities:
- Recruitment and Staffing: Oversee the entire recruitment process, including job postings, screening of candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Performance Management: Implement and manage performance review processes to ensure high performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Policy Implementation: Ensure all HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee relations issues, fostering a positive work environment.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and organize development opportunities to enhance employee skills and organizational performance.
- Compensation and Benefits Management: Oversee the compensation and benefits program, ensuring it is competitive, fair, and aligned with organizational goals.
- HR Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Legal Compliance: Keep abreast of legal requirements related to HR, reducing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Strategic HR Planning: Assist in the development of strategic HR plans and initiatives that support the organization’s overall strategic direction.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with all departments to assist and advise on HR matters, fostering a collaborative team environment.
