Job Summary/Goal: Job Description
In order to improve WASH projects, readiness, prevention, response, and recovery, the holder of this job is primarily in charge of promoting hygiene among the community members and provide technical assistance to provincial WASH professionals. He or she is expected to increase community involvement and guarantee that people are aware of health and hygiene issues.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver awareness sessions on Hygiene promotion and prevention measures in the targeted communities.

- Establishment Water committee management and train the Water committee
- Conduct training courses for Health and Hygiene training to project staff and Government staff in the targeted province, and orientation session for community representatives Water management committee.
- Develop the training material based on the MRRD and MoPH policy and guideline.
- Have the capacity to make the power point presentation based on the community level and requirement.
- Make sure that training materials are updated that can address the need of community for the WASH.
- Ensure proper distribution of the IEC and hygiene material in the community
- Oversee implementation of the program at the health facility and community levels
- Distribution of Hygiene Kits to community people.
- Provide activity reports and develop success stories from the relevant health teams and community
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor (Medical Doctor).

Education:
Minimum education is diploma in the relevant field.
Experience:
At least two years of professional experience in WASH/environmental health or related subjects.
Language Professions:
Proficiency in Dari or Pashto is required.
