About Keenly Humanitarian Assistance for New Afghanistan Organization (KHANA):

Keenly Humanitarian Assistance for New Afghanistan (KHANA) organization was established in 2014 under the registration number of 4319 Ministry of Economy. KHANA is a national, non-profit and non-governmental organization established to bring together human, financial and technical resources to address some of the KHANA challenges faced by the poorest and most marginalized communities in Afghanistan.  Special emphasis is placed on investing in human potential, expanding opportunity and improving the overall quality of life, especially for women, girls and children. It works primarily in six areas:

  • Gender-based Violence (GBV)
  • Agriculture and Food Security;
  • Business Development
  • Education;
  • Prevention
  • Health and Nutrition

KHANA pledges to foster widespread understanding and dedication toward fostering a fair, democratic, and compassionate society in Afghanistan. Job Description:

Responsibilities and particular assignments

  • Conducting a survey and identifying the beneficiaries of the program to provide psychotherapy services.
  • Participation and active presence in the online capacity building programs of KHANA Organization
  • Teaching educational materials to the beneficiaries of the program in person and inside the centres
  • Providing group awareness to the participants in relation to
  • Psychotherapy issues in Islamic law
  • Provide individual counselling and maintain confidentiality during service provision.
  • Weekly reporting activities and data collection
  • Providing individual psychotherapy services for beneficiaries if necessary.
  • Registering subscribers, taking attendance, arranging the database of beneficiaries
  • Application and other necessary documents at centre level.
  • Active attendance and participation in training sessions by (KHANA) Organization
  • Submitting weekly and monthly reports to the central office of (Khana) Organization

Job Requirements:

Qualification/ Requirements

  • At least grade 12 graduate and preference for fluent graduates’ recognition is given
  • She must be bound to the principled implementation of activities within the framework of Islam.
  • Having hijab and Islamic ethics and respecting customs and traditions people.
  • Being fluent in the language of the region and knowing the place
  • Basic knowledge to use a computer
  • The ability to explain and understand to hold team training
  • Committed and active in the implementation of activities
  • from the female category (between the ages of 20 and 40)
  • Previous working experience with KHANA is an asset
