Responsibilities & Context

• Maintain a list of employers and visit them for potential job opportunities.
• Assist in the skill development of learners/students by providing information on job market, current market trend and giving up-to-date data on potential employers.
• Maintain, establish and increase ‘dynamic linkage’ with the employers and employers’ associations
• Maintain student database with specific information relating to educational background, area of interest, personal details, etc. so that they can be contacted if any potential job opportunity matches with their specification.
• Guide the learners/students in writing market standard CVs/resumes and Provide tips on succeeding in the interview to trainees.
• Ensure effective liaison with different industries and organizations in order to stay updated with the new job vacancies that come up.
• Participate in job fair, career day programme arranged by different employers.
• Organize employers’ committee meeting, employers’ day, job fair etc to increase visibility.
• Prepare work plans and submit reports on assigned activities.
• Assist concerned person in selecting participants and facilitating Entrepreneurship Development Training and business incubation support services.
• Strive to meet the project requirements and accomplish set targets. Any other duties assigned by the line manager.
