Job Description:

Major duties and responsibilities

    • Performing laboratory tests according to the instructions of the clinic doctors
  • Competence, Hematology, Immunology, Serology, Biochemistry, Bacteriology, Virology, Blood Bank Tests, Toxicology and Computer Tests
  • Ensuring safe storage of laboratory materials, registration of consumables and timely completion of inventory
  • Accurate recording and regular filling of registers
  • Proper storage of slides for quality control
  • Timely and quality disposal of past laboratory materials in compliance with clinical procedures
  • Preparation of the list of laboratory materials under the supervision of the clinic manager
  • Performing laboratory tasks according to the pre-measured plan
  • Regular and continuous application of infection prevention standards at the health center level
  • Active participation in the quarterly assessment of the standards set in the relevant department
  • Setting the monthly, quarterly and annual work plan in accordance with the general plan to achieve the set goals.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports and informing the leadership of the department about related activities and achievements if needed.
  • Providing technical and professional advice on laboratory issues to the relevant departments
  • Storing information in soft and hard form, ensuring the management of all relevant documents and creating a system
  • Coordination with relevant departments.
  • Sterilization of tools and equipment used in the relevant department.
  • Providing 24-hour services according to the organization of the clinic that has divided time.
  • Compliance with all standards, discipline, including medical ethics.
  • Researching and conducting various laboratory tests to diagnose and share information with the relevant department.
  • Cooperation with introduced professors in scientific and practical laboratory work
  • Establishing official relations with the relevant departments to achieve the set goals

Job Requirements:

Language requirements, if needed

Mastery of the official languages ​​of the country (Pashto and Dari) and familiarity with English 

Qualifications required

Having a medical technology education certificate approved by the Ministry of Public Health

Work experience

Having one year of clinical work experience 

Skills

Having comprehension skills
