Job Description:
Assist the Asset Controller and Operations Director in strategic planning for the organization’s assets needs.
Provide monthly reports of Generator Use, Fleet Management, Facility Lease Management, Courier, and Shipping.
Follow up with the Finance Unit to ensure that service providers’ accounts are settled on time.
Read and has a clear understanding of the Afghan Winner International Field Asset Management Policy, Field Facilities, and Office
Management Policy, Field Warehouse Management Policy.
Field Finance Manual Expatriate Housing Policy, Expatriate Team Handbook, and Country Approval Authority.
Play additional support roles in the operations department such as procurement, warehouse management, facility, logistics, and operations.
Receiving and checking deliveries to ensure that the correct amount and type of stock is delivered.
Heeding notes about appropriate procedures for handling stock, particularly when fragile.
Unpacking items and arranging these on shelves, if needed.
Preparing our clients’ orders by gathering and loading stock.
Ensuring that the facility remains clean, sanitary, and well-organized.
Reporting all breakages and spills.
Offering assistance to other staff in the department during in day.
Job Requirements:
- Highly developed communication skills including written English
- Competent use of IT programs, including Microsoft
- A problem-solving approach to managing situations, with resources to others where required
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize workload, work to tight deadlines, and operate calmly and professionally under pressure.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships and negotiate with others
- Customer service skills with individuals at all levels
