- Good at coordination and communicating precisely & clearly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive): Under the overall supervision of a logistics officer, and/or his/her designated, the storekeeper will undertake the following duties:
- Provide support to logistics operations and activities by adhering to standard processes, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of food assistance to beneficiaries, either directly or indirectly.
- Facilitate timely ordering, handling, storage, and delivery of commodities and supplies to authorized partners and destinations.
- Respond to technical queries and support requests by following established processes, seeking guidance as necessary, and ensuring timely and accurate resolutions with a strong focus on client service.
- Assist in monitoring inventory management processes to identify trends and ensure accurate accounting of inventory status from source to beneficiary, with a particular focus on cooperating partners.
- Contribute to maintaining data quality and integrity in commodity accounting systems within WFP and among cooperating partners.
- Support assessments of cooperating partners’ capacity and provide technical guidance to enhance their warehouse management and commodity accounting capabilities.
- Process and document logistics operations (e.g., partner assessments, monitoring reports, progress updates, and physical inventory reports), and escalate operational issues as needed for resolution.
- Offer regular technical guidance to cooperating partners’ staff, ensuring they complete tasks in compliance with Field Level Agreement (FLA) standards and deadlines.
- Monitor the condition of cooperating partners’ warehouses and commodities, providing guidance for efficient space utilization and organized storage practices aligned with WFP warehouse standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders—including C&F agents, transporters, and cooperating or retail partners—to manage the handling, transportation, storage, and delivery of goods.
- Lead and oversee capacity-building initiatives for WFP Cox’s Bazar cooperating partners.
- Support regular logistics operations in Cox’s Bazar, including tracking commodity movements in the corporate system, processing invoices, conducting assessments, and managing warehouse operations.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned.
