Experience:

• Essential at least one year in MSF Logistics or 2 years in a Logistics post out of MSF
• Desirable: Team management/supervisor experience

Language:

• Essential English, Bangla, and Chittagonian/Rohingya

Responsibilities & Context

Location: MSF OCP Hospital on the Hill, Ukhiya, Camp 8W

Main purpose: Supervising the daily logistics activities and providing maintenance to the MSF equipment, facilities and infrastructures, according to MSF standards and protocols in order to maintain the facilities in perfect conditions and collaborate in the development of the mission.

Accountabilities:

Biomed (Biomedical Equipment Management)

• In Collaborate with Biomed/ Energy Specialist, schedule and oversee preventive maintenance for all biomedical devices and maintain updated inventories.
• Train medical staff on the proper use and basic troubleshooting of medical equipment.
• Collaborate with the Coordination Log team to identify equipment needs.

Cold Chain (Cold chain Equipment Management)

• Responsible and oversee preventive maintenance for all passive and active cold chain Equipment and maintain updated inventories.

IT (Information Technology)

• Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of hospital IT infrastructure, including computers, printers, networks and surveillance system
• Oversee regular backups of critical data and ensure IT systems’ reliability.
• Provide basic IT support and troubleshooting for Hep C project staff.

Supply (Procurement and Stock Management)

• Oversee proper storage conditions for sensitive items, such as medicines and reagents and maintain updated inventories.
• Conduct regular audits of stock to identify discrepancies and prevent shortages.
• Prepare 1+1 monthly order & submit it to warehouse team.
• Receive all Internal Requests of Hep C project & encode it Unifield. Focal point in the project to send all Field Orders to Coordination.

Hep C outreach activities

• Participate in the sentinel site assessment of the mass screening activity to determine together with the team the site layout and needed materials.
• Participate along with the team in the time-to-time security evaluatins of the specific areas the team intends to conduct mass screening campaigns.
• Coordinate with relevant supervisors regarding the movement of Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDTs) and blood samples from the screening sites to the laboratory.

Team Supervision

• Coordinating and leading the logistics team under his/her responsibility which includes daily supervision, monitoring, drawing up their working schedules; organizing and leading team meetings; participating in the recruitment of team personnel and attending logistics meetings

Fleet Management

• Ensuring the vehicle fleet maintenance which includes planning and overseeing timely preventive and curative maintenance of all project vehicles according to MSF standards and Instructing and monitoring drivers on correct driving habits and standard checks.
